Alissa Hunnicutt

Alissa Hunnicutt holds a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music. The soubrette has sung with the Bronx Opera, Liederkranz Opera, Brandenburg Opera and The Seagle Colony.

As the primary crossover gal with Opera on Tap, Alissa is more often seen on the musical theater stage than opera stages these days. She has most recently been involved in the development of several new musicals in NYC including playing the lead in “The Orphan Singer” alongside OOT diva, Anne Ricci. Regionally, she has been seen as Milly in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," Beauty in "Beauty and the Beast," and Dorothy in "Wizard of Oz."

Alissa is also an accomplished voiceover actor. Her most recent audiobooks include "The Myth of You and Me" and "The Fairies Collection: Vidia and the Fairy Crown" for Random House Audio. She was the voice of Barbie in the PC game, The Barbie Diaries High School Mystery. You may also find Alissa performing as a puppeteer, having studied with John Tartaglia and currently the resident puppeteer at Mount Sinai Hospital. www.alissahunnicutt.com
