Ashley Robinson

Ashley Robinson is a soprano from Greenville, SC. She recently finished her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from The University of Alabama where she studied with Dr. Jennifer Cowgill. She also holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Therapy from The University of Alabama, where she studied with Dr. Susan Fleming. While at UA she performed with The University of Alabama Opera Theatre as Sister Angelica in Suor Angelica, Valencienne in The Merry Widow, 2nd Lady in The Magic Flute, and Marcellina in The Marriage of Figaro. She also had the opportunity to perform partial roles with UA Opera Theatre as Desdemona in Otello, Antonia in Les Contes d’Hoffman, and the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro. Her experience in opera began as an ensemble member with Opera Birmingham in The Magic Flute, Orfeo ed Euridice, and La Traviata. She currently resides in Decatur, GA and maintains a private voice studio.
