This fun, enthusiastic and talented group of local singers can be found in bars, restaurants, art galleries, outdoor parks, and much more! They are singing the tunes of your favorite operas, musicals, art songs and even jazz standards. They let down their hair and give the audience a taste of what feels like an after hours back stage party. So come join us at our next event in Boston!

Opera on Tap’s mission is to promote opera as a viable, living and progressive art form by taking it out of the concert halls and putting it into venues where people least expect it. We are passionate about breaking down misconceptions, bringing new people to the art form, and giving power to the performers. We are also committed to building community through the introduction of new audiences to a centuries-old art form.

Love is a Battlefield – Opera Meets the 80’s
What do Cindy Lauper and Gounod have in common? How does Ariadne auf Naxos pair with Journey? The ’80s featured great music, incredible voices, and dramatic emotions – just like opera! We’ll be serving up musical pairs of opera and ’80s hits all afternoon, so grab your tie-dye crop-top, neon scrunchie, and Hammer pants and moonwalk on over to The Burren for a LIKE TOTALLY AWESOME show. Don’t miss this gnarly rad mash-up of your favorite opera arias and ’80’s hits performed by some of Boston’s most talented opera singers. Big hair and members only jackets optional.
With special guest saxophonist Jon Lawson and local fashion icon Designers Circus.
No cover charge, full lunch menu.
