Wilkommen Mesdames et Messieurs, Meine Damen und Herren to New Brew’s Oktoberfest Kabarett! We’ll be offering our own brand of gemutlichkeit, complete with lusty tunes auf Deutsch, en Francais, and, of course, in English meant to tease, to taunt, and to tell a story as only New Brew can! We’ll even throw in a drinking song or two as we throw a few back, but not before “ein prosit!” Featuring our New Brew regulars: Seth Gilman, Anne Hiatt, Cameron Russell, and Krista Wozniak, with the indomitable Chris Berg on the keys. We’ll be expecting du, du, und du! G’suffa!

New Brew’s had its Ladies’ Night. That was fun. But with tenor heartthrob Alex Guerrero and barichunk Seth Gilman curating our August extravaganza, we thought it about time to put on a Mannes Show.
You read that right! Our testosterone-laden co-curators are both alumni of the Mannes College of Music. In honor of their alma mater leaving its historic Upper West Side diggs for new facilities downtown, we’re celebrating with a program of Mannes-affiliated composers. It’ll be a diverse offering of students and faculty, composition and theory, piano and guitar. In short, it will be a blast.
And no, there will be no discount drinks for the gentlemen.
Opera on Tap is headquartered in Ditmas Park and we’re finally bringing our free-spirited warbling to our favorite local on Cortelyou Road- Sycamore Bar and Flower Shop!
While you dine on delicious brunch faire c/o Roswell and sip on bloody marys, Opera on Tap’s line-up of professional performers will regale you with some of opera’s greatest hits. Expect love, expect wit, expect death, expect vengefulness, expect every emotion you can think of. It’s opera. With your brunch.
