Erika Hennings

Since receiving degrees from Westminster Choir College and Manhattan School of Music in vocal performance, Erika Hennings has sung in New York City since 2007. Frequently singing with various new companies, her most recent performance highlights are Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro with Opera on Tap’s Outreach, Hansel in Hansel and Gretel with NY Lyric Opera, and Jenny Diver in Britten’s Beggar’s Opera with Morningside Opera. Other roles include Mercedes in Opera on Tap’s Outreach production of Carmen, Marcellina in Marriage of Figaro with Dicapo Opera, and Komponist in Ariadne auf Naxos with Wagner Theater Program. Some of her favorite unique concert and ensemble appearances include singing with Chelsea Opera, New York Pops, and New York Philharmonic.
