Jessica Kluck

Classically-trained vocalist Jessica Kluck has been singing and entertaining from a very young age. Born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, Jessica was exposed to many genres of music, including opera, jazz, Broadway and the Great American Songbook. She began formal training at the precocious age of nine, and exhibited an early passion for music performance.
Jessica holds a Bachelors degree from Syracuse University’s Setnor School of Music where she was a double major in both Voice Performance and Musicology. After holding many principle roles in Syracuse University’s Opera Program, including the world premiere of Luigi Zaninelli’s Snow White at the Teatro Maggio in Florence, Italy in 2006, Jessica was offered graduate admission to the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California to pursue a Masters degree in Vocal Arts.
As a current student of Gary Glaze, Jessica has found a unique musical home in Southern California. In the summer of 2010, she participated in the Professional Program of SongFest at Pepperdine University. She is a frequent collaborator with her colleagues, especially those in USC Thornton’s Department of Composition, as she is an avid proponent of new music. Jessica is also an accomplished and devoted vocal instructor, as she strives to bring healthy, classical technique to students interested in singing in a variety of differing styles.
