Michelle Hall

Mezzo-soprano, Michelle Hall, is originally from Allegany, NY, and has appeared on both the operatic and concert stage. Ms. Hall performed the role of Flora in Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of the Screw with the University of North Texas Opera Theater, as well as Jo March in Little Women, and Hansel in Hansel and Gretel. Other roles include Orfeo in Orfeo ed Euridice, Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier, and Laia in the new American work, Opera.com.edy with the Crittenden Opera Studio in the summer of 2010. She has recently completed the roles of the Third Lady in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s The Magic Flute, as well as Bradamante in Georg Frideric Handel’s Alcina. Ms. Hall is also an alumna of the OperaWorks Emerging Artist Program and the American Singers Opera Project. As a concert soloist, she has appeared in John Rutter’s Magnificat, Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem, and as a featured soloist in the University of North Texas Symphony Pops’ “Best of Broadway,” with David Itkin as the conductor. Ms. Hall obtained her Masters of Music degree in Vocal Performance at the University of North Texas in 2011. She currently studies with Dr. Lynn Eustis.
