Rosy Anoush Svazlian

Rosy Anoush Svazlian, Lyric Soprano, is a promising young singer of Armenian descent originally from San Francisco, California. She completed her Bachelor's and Masters degree at the Conservatory of Milan, “Giuseppe Verdi.” She then continued to further her experience with the young artist program at Academy of La Scala. Rosy Anoush Svazlian had her debut concert in December, 2010 in Yerevan, Armenia, where she had the honor to perform with Plácido Domingo in the Yerevan Perspectives International Festival. She was also chosen as one of the participants in the world leading opera competition, OPERALIA 2011 Moscow. Rosy Anoush has been involved in various productions at the Conservatory of Milan, including “The Beggar's Opera,” (Jenny Diver and Lady Di) Kurt Weil, “The Little Sweep” (Rose) Benjamin Britten, “La Boheme” (Musetta) Giacomo Puccini, “Il Signor Bruschino” (Marianna) Rossini, L'elisir d'amore (Adina) Donizetti, “Le Nozze di Figaro,” (Contessa), and “La Voix Umaine,” Poulenc. She has also performed in Teatro Dal Verme in Milan as the lead protagonist in the opera “ Savitri” (G. Holst).
