Sarah Klauer

Sarah Klauer, a graduate from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, studied with professor of singing Daune Mahy. A Minnesota native, she is currently studying with Donna Olson in the Bay Area, where she recently placed in the aria division of the NATS competition. Passionate about using music as a tool to facilitate community and peace, Sarah has been involved with the Listen for Life organization. Sarah has appeared in Little Women, Orpheus and the Underworld, and Dialogues des Carmelites as well as Elisir d’amore. She enjoys historical performance and performed several roles in Purcell’s Fairy Queen as well as Anna (Belinda) in Dido and Aeneas. Sarah enjoys travel and language, and has performed with the Freiberger Staatsoper in Germany.
