This fun, enthusiastic and talented group of local singers can be found in bars, restaurants, art galleries, outdoor parks, and much more! They are singing the tunes of your favorite operas, musicals, art songs and even jazz standards. They let down their hair and give the audience a taste of what feels like an after hours back stage party. So come join us at our next event in Boston!

Opera on Tap’s mission is to promote opera as a viable, living and progressive art form by taking it out of the concert halls and putting it into venues where people least expect it. We are passionate about breaking down misconceptions, bringing new people to the art form, and giving power to the performers. We are also committed to building community through the introduction of new audiences to a centuries-old art form.

Join us for our FIFTH annual Opera Night Holiday Party!
Wednesday, December 27th at 6:30pm – reservations REQUIRED, please call 617-924-9475.
Why, you may ask, have we chosen this particular date? Based on our previous experience, we’ve found that the period in between Christmas and New Year’s Eve is the perfect time for a gala event. The brunt of the holidays have passed, and most folks need to pamper themselves, relax, and enjoy a party where someone else does the cooking, cleaning and entertaining. The Holiday Party offers a mixture of classic and modern, opera and musicals, old favorites and perhaps something unexpected.
