Come out to Bohemeo’s in the Third Ward October 19th 7PM to have a fun night of great local opera, and a costume party! Come dressed as your favorite opera character, or anything that tickles your fancy (just…wear clothes…). Entrance is free with a $5-$10 suggested donation. Hope to see you at our inaugural event!
For this OOT, expect a reprisal of the original one-act opera composed by Liam Wade and libretto by Vynnie Meli to celebrate Oktoberfest! Afterwards, Atlanta’s best will perform spooky classics in honor of the Halloween season!
We’ll see you at Noni’s in Edgewood from 2-4pm! Please note the time change!
Ever thought opera could include football?
Well, this one does!
With OOT-Wisconsin personalities such as David Guzman, Dana Vetter, Erin Sura, Austin Bare, and Josh Perkins, this 45 -minute opera focuses around two football players, two cheerleaders, and a coach.
Passion in Pigskin is written by New York – based composer and librettist duo Ellen Mandel and Michael Lydon.
*During the first half of the show evenings, OOT-WIS will have seasoned performers sing songs not from the show but related to its theme, crazy, sometimes messed-up love and the like.
October is also nationally the OOTOBER fundraising month for all of Opera on Tap, so we will touch on that a little bit the nights of the show.
For more information on purchasing tickets, there are two choices:

Ever thought operas were based around football?
This one is a 45 minute opera with two football players, two cheerleaders, and a coach.
Get ready for love triangles and singing from the sideline and such things!
The show is written by a New York-based composer and librettist duo, Ellen Mandel and Michael Lydon (Mopat Music). Ellen and Michael will be joining us for both shows (Thursday and Friday).
*We will be having the first half of the night with additional guests in what would otherwise be our normal Opera on Tap gigs, singing songs within a theme, this one being love: unrequited, conflicted, “messed-up,” and others related to the show.
October is also the national OOTOBER fundraising month, so that first half, we’ll speak on that very shortly.
Don’t miss personalities such as Josh Perkins, Dana Vetter, David Guzman, Austin Bare, and Erin Sura on the stage singing their hearts out.
Produced by Mopat Music and Opera on Tap – Wisconsin.

Spice up your Tuesday night! Come listen to the singers of Opera On Tap Pittsburgh share their favorite pieces written by the legendary Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! Enjoy the incredible food, wine, and cocktails that Allegheny Wine Mixer has to offer.
We’ll see you Tuesday, September 18! There is no cover, but we will be passing the Wagnerian Hat of Prosperity!
Ever wonder what Mozart really looked like? Check out this article from the Daily Beast! This description might just sum it up:
He was very popular with the ladies, in spite of his small size; but he had a most unusual face, and he could cast a spell on any woman with his eyes.
Let’s see if our singers can cast a spell on you with our voices!
We will be flexing our MUSICAL THEATRE muscles as some of Atlanta’s most talented singer’s personally serenade you with your favorite Broadway hits (and maybe some opera thrown in).
