Opera on Tap NYC is holding general auditions and hearing singers for the upcoming outreach performance of The Magic Flute in June.
Auditions will be held March 2 and 3.
The Magic Flute will be an abridged version, sung in German. Especially seeking diversity, as well as singers who have experience in NYC public schools.
Two teaching artist positions are open from within the cast. If interested in a teaching artist position, please send a teaching resume as well. The TA positions are six-week commitments.
Please email a headshot, resume, and links to audio or video recordings to email@example.com
Please note if you are interested in the teaching artist position and which role you would like to audition for, or if you would like to be heard for general auditions only.
For the audition, prepare a 20th or 21st century aria and a Mozart aria.
