Welcome to Opera on Tap DC Metro!
Opera on Tap is a non-profit organization whose mission is to break down the stereo-type that opera is a stuffy or elitist art form by bringing it to bars. Local singers let their hair down and bring you into what feels like an after hours back stage party, singing some of opera’s best known and little known pieces in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Come to The Wonderland Ballroom to experience a whole range of loving feelings with Opera on Tap DC Metro: blissful, angry, romantic, unrequited, confused, withheld, lost, given with abandon. You name it, we’ve got it! You can celebrate with us though rapturous cheering, or cry in your beers if it’s been that kind of day. Either way, you’ll get all the feels (and all the arias)… it’s like free therapy!
