OPERA ON TAP COLORADO IS HERE!

We are thrilled to be starting Opera on Tap Colorado!

Opera on Tap is a non-profit organization whose mission is to break down the stereo-type that opera is a stuffy or elitist art form by bringing it to bars. Local singers let their hair down and bring you into what feels like an after hours back stage party, singing some of opera's best known and little known pieces in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Opera on Tap was founded in New York City in 2005 when a few singers, out for a drink in Brooklyn, wondered what it would be like if classical singers could gig at local bars like bands do. Opera on Tap now boasts chapters in cities across the country - including Colroado since 2011!

We bring opera to unexpected places throughout the state, offering audiences exceptional music by outstanding singers, and giving professional singers the opportunity to sing regularly in public in a welcoming, supportive atmosphere.
